The game against New Trier will be played at Farwell Field, Lake Forest College. This field is located on Washington Rd. and Illinois Rd. The entrance faces Washington Rd. just north of Illinois.
Directions
Take Deerpath EAST to Washington Rd. (approx. 3/4 mile EAST of McKinley Rd.)
Turn RIGHT and go SOUTH on Washington Rd. Look for the entrance to the football field on the right side of the road just NORTH of Illinois.
Parking
Park in the Lake Forest College lot that is directly aross from the entrance to Farwell Field. Walk past the front of the field and look for the entrance to the field on the NORTH side of the building.
Players
Please arrive at the pitch no later than 5:00 for warm-ups.

LFHS v Arlington Stallions 4/17/08
Guys
The game against the Arlington Stallions for 4/17 IS ON!! It's go time.
We will be playing down there in Schaumburg on their pitch as a favor to them. I'll explain it fully when I see you guys at practice.
We will be travelling to Schaumburg by bus. Yes, by bus. I have rented a yellow bus for the trip. PLEASE be at the Lake Forest High School - West Campus parking lot NO LATER than 3:30. We will be leaving by 3:45 pm. We will be parking our cars in the back lot. Tell your parents (if they need to know) that we will be returning by 7:30 pm after the game.
Donations for the bus ride will be accepted (and appreciated). If you have a friend, family member, teacher, or spectator who wants to come along for the game, we do have a few extra seats available on the bus.
Practice on Monday (4/14) will be at the Pavlick's house, starting at 4:45. I will not be at this Monday practice as I have a family member who is undergoing serious surgery on Monday out of town, and will not be back in town in time.
For practice this week, we will be keeping the scrimmage to a minimum, and will be working on technical aspects of our game, signals, lineouts, scrums, and ghost rugby.
I will be picking up the jerseys on Tuesday after scchool. Yay!

Update 4/9/08
Guys
Our game for today against Senn High School has been cancelled. They are an unregistered and uninsured team. The game most likely will not be rescheduled.
The Noble St. HS game will be rescheduled for later in May.
Our game against the Arlington Stallions is currently scheduled for Thursday 4/17. It may be rescheduled for Wed. 4/16 or Sat. 4/19. I will update you as soon as I find out for sure. If we play on Sat. 4/19, we will kick off at 11::00 am. The game will be playd before the Lake County Gladiators take on the Chicago Griffins at 1:00 pm. (That'll be a game to watch...)
Our t-shirts are in! I'll be handing them out at practice tomorrow.
We'll be practicing at Pavlick's house tomorrow. Please be there by 4:45. Rain or shine!

The game is ON! We are playing Senn HS on Wed. 4/9 in Schaumburg at the Northwest Woodsman RFC pitch. (Directions to follow) We are planning on a 5:30 kickoff. I'll be talking more about the game to day at practice.
Today's practice will be held at 1451 Harlan Ln., Lake Forest. (Harlan Ln. runs off of Old Elm Rd., just west of Ridge. Old Elm Rd. west from Ridge, and turn South on Harlan Ln.) We'll begin at 4:45.
For those of you who came and watched the Lions lose to the Griffins (30-17) on Sat., was that a great game or what? I believe the Lions were favored to win.

Chicago Lions v Chicago Griffins 4/5/08
Here are the directions to the pitch in Schiller Park for Sat., 4/5.
1. I-294 SOUTH to I-90
2. EAST on I-90 to Chicago
3. Get in the right lane immediately after coming out of the tollbooth
4. Take the Cumberland Rd. SOUTH exit
5. Continue on Cumberland Rd. to Irving Park Rd. (@ 2 miles)
6. Turn RIGHT on Irving Park Rd.
7. Enter the Schiller Woods Grove on the right, @ 1/10 of a mile past Cumberland
8. Grove #10 is in the back. Turn LEFT once you are in the forest preserve area, and continue to the left. Look for the pitch. It should be easy to spot.
I'm going, and will probably get there at about 12:45. Kickoff is 1:00 pm. This should be an awesome game. These are two of the best teams in the midwest.

Information update
Guys
The jerseys are being stitched and sewed as you sit and read this entry! I can tell you that they look great. The socks and shorts are in, and I will be picking them up at the same time as the jerseys. The jerseys should be finished late this week, and shipped on Sat. This means they will be delivered early next week in time for our first game!
The t-shirts will be ready on Tuesday (4/8). I will be picking them up and handing them out at practice next week. They also look great. I have included the logo and picture for you to view.

Guys, thanks for being patient with our terrible practice schedule. The weather has worked against us, and the pitch should be good to practice on today. The first game is only days away!
